Why do americans watch soccer only during the world cup?
I have realized that americans don’t watch soccer, ever. Only when there is a big tournament like the World Cup. I want to know why.

Ok I am trying to learn about soccer and everything that goes with it but it is just confusing. I know that the Euro 2008 is going on right now. But what is it and what is also FIFA and the World Cup. I just learned that Canada has a world cup too. There is also UEFA. What is all this stuff? Someone please help me understand because I am a softball player and I don’t get any of this. Thanks!
